Title
Taliesin (II) at Stesion Fain.
Taliesin (II) on a lengthy Up passenger train at Stesion Fain circa 1934 - 1935. Mechanical draincocks fitted circa 1934, whilst the dolly for the vacuum pipe moves to the right in photographs from 1935, so this dates the scene before August 1935. Note the Cub Scout (then known as Wolf Cubs) on the platform, presumably in the company of his father and brother.

Carriages in the formation include Small Birmingham 4-wheeler carriages Nos 4, 5, 12, ex-WHR Ashbury summer carriage No. 23 in FR ownership, Bowsider No. 19 or 20, Ashbury No. 22, at least another two carriages hidden from sight by the water tank and Brown Marshalls Van No. 5. The fireman is Tom Davies.
