Merddin Emrys arriving at LNWR exchange (Stesion Fain) with the 3.20 ex-Porthmadog Up train, 14 September 1934. The train formation includes Small Birmingham 4-wheelers Nos 4, 5, 12, ex-WHR Ashbury summer carriage No. 23, two Bowsiders, and Bogie Van No. 2. Note the PW trolley derailed at the siding catch-point. Oakeley Quarry waste tip dominates the landscape.
