Bleasdale No.33 Porthmadog end of long tunnel
South end of old tunnel with PW storage box and wagon, photographed in August 1887. The derailed vehicle on the left is a braked PW trolley. Together with the tools and member of staff to the right, work was evidently being carried out on the track at this location. Note the width of the formation here, which during the horse-drawn era was the site of a stable and passing loop.
