A view of Little Wonder, taken circa 1879-81 from in front of the Duffws Goods Shed. It now has the whistles outside the cabsheets and the sandpots raised and fastened to the tank fronts. The double sided pressure gauge is mounted on the right-hand spectacle plate and the regulator mechanism has a larger handwheel facing the driver, perhaps making it similar to the Spooner regulator design. The drop down firebox doors are revealed by the sunshine on this side of the engine and a stoker's seat, to be hung off the footplate handrails, nestles alongside the top end dome. A Mk 2a Quarrymen's carriage to the left has an end window with a wooden shutter.
