File metadata
Palmerston at Porthmadog Harbour Station circa 1928. The locomotive's tank filler lid is missing. The faded lining is still just about visible on the saddle tank. The driver is Morris Davies and the tall fireman is William R. Williams. The short passenger train (likely the winter formation as seen in other photographs from this period) consists of Small Birmingham porthole carriage No. 11 or 12, Brown Marshalls bogie carriage No. 16, and probably Brown Marshalls Van No. 5 (the sister No. 4 having been withdrawn for rebuilding with passenger compartments around this time).
