Merddin Emrys and Princess outside Boston Lodge Engine Shed, 11 March 1956. The smoke coming from the chimneys is faked, the locomotive is in unrestored condition. These were the last locomotives in service when the railway closed, and have been dragged out of the shed where they had sat during the eight years of closure.
