Lilla at Penrhyn.

Lilla at Penrhyn Quarry, Red Lion Level, August 1955, final period of service at the quarry before being set aside for repairs that were never carried out. The locomotive has the whistle mounted to the front of the cab, with the replacement chimney and Penrhyn couplings fitted at the quarry. Note the water balance lifting wheel house in the background to the left. Penrhyn slab and slate waggons behind the locomotive.
