Taliesin (II) wheelset on Boston Lodge 1-Road, August 1957. The stores building in the backgroumd was being reroofed at the time. The flat waggon is ex-3-ton slate No. 962. Note how it is sat upon the waggon turntable at the bottom end of the road. This intersected with the right angled track running between the Top Yard and another turntable on 3-Road. Within a year of this scene, this historic layout would be removed, to be replaced with addition point work.
