Boston Lodge Erecting Shop, March - April 1955. Prince undergoing re-assembly in foreground, new boiler and chassis united for first time. Taliesin (II) in background. Fairlie wheelsets in the Machine Shop, probably from the bottom end bogie which was yet to be re-installed under the locomotive.
Bolted to the roof truss above Taliesin's cab are four lengths of old rail in chairs, presumably to enable heavy objects to be moved side to side via a hoist. Chain hoists beside Prince's boiler. Note the pair of motorcycling goggles hanging from Taliesin's left hand cab rail.
