Palmerston shunting at Blaenau Ffestiniog GWR Exchange, 7 August 1935. The waggon behind the tender appears to be an unusual type. It has a hand brake and inside bearings, and although the chassis appears similar to that of a flat wooden PW trolley, it appears to be fitted with hinged side planking.
