Merddin Emrys and Welsh Pony at Porthmadog Harbour Station, 1935. Merddin Emrys is on an FR passenger train, implying that Welsh Pony is working on the WHR. Note the carriage liveries in the background, and the enlarged buffer on Welsh Pony for ex-NWNG stock, although it appears to be bent out of shape at the bottom, indicating thicker plate was needed.

The FR carriages include semi-open porthole Small Birmingham 4-wheelers Nos 11 & 12, and Ashbury No. 22. To the right above Merddin can be glimpsed an unidentified object, probably a bus parked alongside the goods shed.
