Conway Castle/ Castell Conwy at Porthmadog Harbour Station.
Date
28/12/1988
Conway Castle/ Castell Conwy and Tin Car No. 121 at Porthmadog Harbour Station followed by prototype aluminium carriage No. 116 in the 'Mountain Prince' livery, 28 December 1988. No. 121 is painted in the prototype Push Pull upside down livery of cream and green. Freshly outshopped with gas fired central heating and three sets of experimental seats, it was subsequently fitted with the new style red third class seats and was re-painted in green lower body and off-white upper body livery, which was ultimately chosen for the Push Pull set instead of that seen here.

The platform canopy (paid for with EEC funding under the InCa project) is brand new and lacking finishing touches, having no decorative edge. The 'Mountain Prince' livery evolved into the now standard livery for both the FR and WHR albeit with cream doors.
