Baldwin 590 crossing Porthmadog High Street onto Madoc Street, 1936. The visible carriages in the passenger train are Ashbury un-glazed semi-open summer carriage No. 28 and Ashbury Corridor No. 25. As neither of these were brake vehicles there must have been at least one more carriage, probably one of the Pickering Brake Composites out of sight at the rear.
