Palmerston at Penrhyn Station with a Down goods train, July 1936. Covered Goods Van No. 129 with hinged end doors rated for 4-tons tare weight 1-9-2 next to the locomotive. The driver is Tom Davies. It is possible that the van is being shunted onto the train having been fetched from the flour siding.
