Princess approaching Croesor Junction from Porthmadog, 3 April 1926. Short passenger train with Pickering Brake Composite No. 8. Princess will shortly uncouple from its train and run through the loop. Moel Tryfan, having arrived first with its train, will do the same and couple onto the Pickering. Each locomotive will then return to Porthmadog and Dinas respectively. This timetable avoided passengers having to change trains, but ensured that locomotives were swapped to allow their return to their original starting point.
