Title
Princess shunting at Porthmadog Harbour Station.
Princess shunting the goods shed roads at Porthmadog Harbour Station. The visible vehicles are 3-ton slate waggon No. 878, a wooden 2-ton coal waggon, and a mk3 quarrymen's carriage (the same carriage as seen in iBase 205).

Upon examination there are bolts holding the front of the smokebox on (a distinctive repair prominent in other photographs) and the saddle tank is held on the step frame by bent iron bars. The flared top patched tender seen here was behind Palmerston prior to its withdrawal and so given that locomotive was withdrawn in May 1930 this photograph can be dated to 1930 - 1931 soon after the large repair patch had been put on the side.
