View of the Vale of Ffestiniog taken from above the line near Old Coed y Bleiddiau, in August 1887. This photograph is Plate 26 in the Spooner Album. The course of the railway can be seen bottom right. Note the sharp meander in the Afon Dwyryd. The river would subsequently take a much shallower bend closer to the hillside.
