Merddin Emrys at Porthmadog Harbour Station.

Double Fairlie Merddin Emrys at Porthmadog Harbour Station circa 1925. The locomotive is shunting a large 4-ton coal waggon near the water tank at the far end of the station. It still has the eye in the smokebox door for the steam lance but there are no visible bolts which places the scene before the end of the decade. Although quite dirty, the crest on the cab side from its last fully lined repaint is clearly visible. The bogies are not the originals, but those swapped out from under LT.
