08/07/1936
Bessie Jones selling post cards to the Down train at Tan y Bwlch, 8 July 1936. The train consists of Taliesin (II), Brown Marshalls Van No. 4, and two Bowsiders. The photographer is sat in Ashbury No. 21. The driver and guard are in conversation with the fireman beside the locomotive.

In the goods shed siding can be seen a PW trolley (likely waggon No. 2) and Covered Goods Van No. 1 (mk3 quarrymen's conversion with sliding doors). The crane in the background is adjacent to the small yard. Together with waggon turntables and coal shoots, these facilities enabled goods to be offloaded for further transport by road onto Maentwrog.

Other features on display include a child's tricycle, a luggage trolley, and one of the old station lamp posts. The lamp would have hung from the side bracket.
